VIDEOFORMES offers a specific program to young audiences by adhering to an educative approach of image and video art by way of two calls for tender for collective projects - the project Installations Jeune vidéo and the Concours Une Minute – and by organizing School sessions.

This federating project participates in an educative approach of image and video art referenced in art education programs .
It is supported by the Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes DRAC, the Clermont-Ferrand Board of Education DAAC and by the Canopé network of the Clermont-Ferrand Academy. Its purpose is the making of a video or multimedia installation within schools, supervised by an artist suggested by VIDEOFORMES and by professionals.

VIDEOFORMES organizes a national video creation contest, supported by the Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes DRAC, Atelier CANOPÉ Clermont-Ferrand and the Clermont-Ferrand Board of Education (D.A.A.C). The contest is open to every young people, schools and associations. Three categories have been created : elementary school, middle school and high school. The video must not be over one minute. Every video has to display an artistic approach : aesthetic, plastic, poetic...

The selections are adapted to the three levels - elementary school, middle school and high school - and are made of movies featured in the PRIX VIDEOFORMES 2018, an international competition which covers the diversity of artistic universes and of innovative forms video takes today.
This year, VIDEOFORMES offers teachers the opportunity to have a screening in their own classroom by using these selections, which will be online and free access during two weeks (19 > 31 March). An online pedagogical documentation will be available ahead of the festival to download and print, so that teachers may prepare their session and support every students in their analysis of each digital creation.
